The Delhi Destroyers overcame a good performance by Hanoi catcher Iften Tarishi to knock off Hanoi, 8-6, at Field of the Red Dragons. Tarishi went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Ghedi Tuwile earned the save, his 9th, for the Destroyers. The win gives Delhi a record of 14-12.

Delhi used the timely hitting of Juma Abasi to capture the win. The first baseman socked a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Destroyers ahead, 8-6. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"It's a good day to be a fan after a win like that," Abasi told the Delhi Chronicle.
