Bulls Rebuff Arrows, 4-2
|
The Barcelona Bulls converted a terrific effort from starter Lowai Hoalohalani into a win over the Seoul Arrows at Samsung Stadium. The Bulls won the game by a final score of 4-2. The winner was Hoalohalani. He threw 7.0 innings of 6-hit ball. The loser was Luke Smith. The Bulls, with just their 7th win so far in 2114, have yet to catch fire.
Chipping in for Barcelona was first baseman Kipiriano Anekelea. He stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth. For the game, Anekelea was 1 for 4.
"When you are able to locate the ball, good things are going to happen," said Hoalohalani.
