Istanbul wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher Toghmaoui Chipende, falling to the London Knights, 2-1. Chipende threw 9.0 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. Clement Barbu was credited with the save for London, his 4th of the season. The Scimitars, now 5-16, continue their inauspicious start.

London took a 2-0 lead on Hugo Polo's 3rd home run of the season. The solo home run came off Istanbul pitcher Toghmaoui Chipende in the top of the seventh.

Polo told a London Observer reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
