Tango Deal Jazz 7-4 Defeat
|
In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.
Buenos Aires registered a win at Jakarta Grounds by beating the Jakarta Jazz, 7-4. Pitcher Anzelm Paciorek was one reason why the Tango triumphed. The Jazz, now 7-13, continue their poor start.
Buenos Aires second baseman Vitaly Daniev contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the fourth. With two down, he hit a fastball to right field for a 2-run single. It was his 14th hit of the season and put the Tango ahead, 4-1.
"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Daniev.
