Didenksen Belts 2 Homers in 7-1 Win
|
Wet weather did not postpone the Seoul-Bangkok ballgame.
The Seoul Arrows downed the Bangkok Elephants, 7-1, at Samsung Stadium. The Arrows were led by Bodil Didenksen. Didenksen hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Luke Smith picked up the win with 5 innings of work. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits, while walking 0 and striking out 6. On the season, he is now 1-0.
With Seoul leading 2-1 in the bottom of the third, Didenksen hit a run-scoring single off Bangkok hurler Rhodes Calpis. It was the 3rd hit of the season for Didenksen and put his team ahead, 3-1.
"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Didenksen.
The win gives Seoul a record of 1-1.
