The Singapore Fusion topped the Tehran Stars, 4-3, in Eastern League action at Tehran Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Singapore pitcher and Kankaanpää, Finland, native Terho Honka. The Stars fall to 6-10 and continue their lackluster start in 2115.

Singapore won the game in part because of Julian Baird. The third baseman ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Fusion ahead, 3-1. For the game, Baird had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"The name on the front of this uniform is all that matters to me," Honka told the Singapore News. "And padding the Singapore win column."
