The Los Angeles Dreamers picked up a win at Dreamers Ballpark, taking down the Santo Domingo Bachateros, 4-2. Starting pitcher Atyantika Bahl was a big reason why. Los Angeles reliever Yahiya Yahya picked up the win, upping his record to 3-6. Jean-Pierre Delahaye was saddled with the loss. The 'W' lifts Los Angeles's record to 63-67.
A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and no one out in the bottom of the eighth inning. That's when right fielder Waweru Jahi, who finished 4th in the WL in doubles with 46 in 2104, hit a single. The Dreamers went on to win.
"We made a couple of mistakes," said Santo Domingo skipper Sergio Sianez, "and it cost us."
