11-3 Loss Deepens Dubai Funk
The Singapore Fusion coasted to a win over the Dubai Towers, 11-3. Randall Lindsay had a good day at the plate for Singapore. He went 3-4 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 3. Singapore pitcher Aleksis Ennikeev got the win, upping his record to 5-13. Muhtadi Akram got the loss. Dubai is in the throes of a 9-game skid.

Karim Fareed dealt the Towers a blow in the bottom of the seventh. Batting with the bases loaded and Singapore leading 4-3, Fareed, who finished 3rd in the WL in hits with 205 in 2100, hit a full count fastball for a 2-run single.

"We played hard and won," said Lindsay. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
