Due in large part to third baseman Willie Castillo, the Jakarta Jazz sunk the Dubai Towers, 12-7. Castillo went 2 for 3 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. Edwin Sanchez got credit for the win, improving to 3-1. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3.1 innings. The Jazz have an impressive 79-47 record.

Jakarta used the clutch hitting of Makabee Benezekri to capture the win. The shortstop drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to give the Jazz the lead, 7-6. For the game, Benezekri had 1 single and 2 doubles in 5 at-bats.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Benezekri. "And not try to do too much."
