South African Grounds was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Hanoi Red Dragons and South Africa Black Sox.

South Africa first baseman Tarik Kimweri had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 5-4, to Hanoi at South African Grounds. Kimweri was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. Ghebru Twia recorded his 5th save for Hanoi.

Center Fielder Asmerom Odhieng made an impact for Hanoi, when he swatted a 2-run double off Kaden bin Haroun in the top of the fifth. For the contest, Odhieng was 1-3 with a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.

"From the last whatever, five, six, seven games, there's really only one way to go and that's up," said losing manager Pao-tzu Bi.
