Lemmens Slugs Fusion to 11-9 Win
In a high-scoring contest between Singapore and Delhi, left fielder Brent Lemmens was a difference-maker. Lemmens, who finished 4th in the EL in on-base percentage with .391 last year, distinguished himself in the 11-9 Singapore win. He hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. Singapore reliever Wilhelm Hahn picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Arfan Emir took the loss. Imran Popalzai earned the save, his 22nd in 27 tries.

The game was at a stalemate until catcher Adirizak Suji came to bat in the top of the eighth. Facing Delhi pitcher Ayaz bin Wahid, he hit a first pitch fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Singapore on top, 7-6.

"The hot tub feels extra good after a solid win," said Suji.

Singapore now has a 3-game win streak.
