Arrows Squeeze By Tokyo, 1-0
|
Tokyo got a valiant performance from pitcher Sahir bin Nabil, but it wasn't enough to beat the Seoul Arrows. Seoul won the game, 1-0. bin Nabil threw 10.0 innings of shutout ball for the losing team. The win belonged to Harija Trikha in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Daniel Chioh took the loss for Tokyo. With the victory, the Arrows upped their record to 66-49.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 11th inning, when Seoul designated hitter Ramelan Subagja, facing Daniel Chioh, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Arrows the 1-0 win.
"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Subagja.
