Scimitars Rally to Nose Past Hanoi
The Istanbul Scimitars did just enough to nip the Hanoi Red Dragons, 7-6, in 10 innings. Istanbul third baseman Nand Choudhary, in particular, had a standout performance. The win puts Istanbul at 71-30 this season.

Muti Majid came through with a big-time hit for Istanbul. The designated hitter smacked a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to give his team the lead, 7-6. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"We took home the win," said Choudhary. "What's not to like?"
