Red Dragons Roll to 9-3 Win Over Patriots
The Hanoi Red Dragons knocked off the Hong Kong Patriots, 9-3, in Eastern League action at Field of the Red Dragons. Hanoi pitcher and Zory, Poland, native Szczedrzyk Lubka had an outstanding performance. Lubka got the win, improving to 1-2. He gave up 5 hits and walked 3 over 6 innings. He allowed 3 runs. The win brings the Red Dragons to 2-8, an awful start for a team that made the playoffs just last season.

Making an impact for Hanoi was designated hitter Sashenka Gorgulov. Hotwire drilled a run-scoring double off Mulatu Adegoke in the bottom of the second. For the game, Gorgulov went 1 for 4 with a double.

"It's a mindset," said Lubka. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
