Eisuke Tanaka had a good game, but he could not keep the Hanoi Red Dragons from falling, 6-5, to the Dubai Towers at Field of the Red Dragons. The Hanoi catcher went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times in the loss. Paramananda Prashant notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 2 hits in 2.1 innings. His record now sits at 3-1. Dubai is 46-49 and Hanoi, with the loss, 55-42.

Dubai used the timely hitting of Jonathan Lopez to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Towers on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Hanoi manager Ponco Kusuma. "But we decided not to take it."
