Almost There: Pyongyang On Cusp of CS Triumph After 4-2 Win

The Pyongyang Sky Horses moved to within one game of the World Series, downing the visiting Riyadh Oryx at Pyongyang Park by a score of 4-2. Sky Horses right-hander Donu Abdeljilil had a strong outing in which he threw 6.0 innings of shutout ball. The win gives the Sky Horses a 3-1 advantage in the best-of-7 League Championship Series.
Benito Arenas, who led the EL in home runs with 42 in 2112, chipped in a 2-run home run for Pyongyang in the bottom of the first. For the game, the third baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
"I didn't leave too many pitches out over the plate," said Abdeljilil.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Pyongyang Park in Pyongyang.
