Mayekar Blasts Scimitars, Fusion Take Game 2, 8-7
The Singapore Fusion defeated the Istanbul Scimitars, 8-7, in Game 2 of the Division Series. Making an impact was first baseman Rajendran Mayekar, who went 2-5 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. The win moves Singapore into a 1-1 tie with Istanbul in the series.

Singapore took the lead, 8-7, in the bottom of the eighth inning. With no one out, catcher Iften Tarishi hit a 2-run home run that set the crowd abuzz.

"It was a solid, all-around game for us," said Singapore manager Tatsuya Morimoto.

The next game is set to be played for Sunday, October 18th , 2116 at Constantinople Coliseum in Istanbul.
