Wildcard Series Game 1 Victory for Eastick and Pyongyang
|
Andrew Eastick and the Pyongyang Sky Horses opened the Wildcard Series in brilliant fashion, shutting out the visiting Singapore Fusion at Pyongyang Park, 4-0, and securing an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Eastick, the Sky Horses left-hander, threw 6.1 innings of shutout ball.
Eastick was in the zone all game. He frustrated Singapore hitters while giving the Sky Horses 6.1 innings of quality work. Eastick threw 102 pitches, allowing 2 hits and getting 8 punchouts.
"Andrew pitched his heart out," said Pyongyang manager Hector Hernandez.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Pyongyang Park in Pyongyang.
