Kangaroos Shut Out Elephants, 5-0
|
Melbourne Kangaroos starter Gamar Davidov hurled his team past the Bangkok Elephants, 5-0. Melbourne now owns a record of 44-51.
Siad Kajombo, the 32nd overall pick in the 2108 draft, took Bangkok hurler Norberto Lenire deep in the bottom of the fifth. His 2-run home run put the Kangaroos on top, 2-0. In all, Kajombo had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 5.
"We put our best foot forward tonight," said a smiling Davidov.
