Tehran Takes League Championship Series
|
After their 12-11 win today over the New Zealand Seals, the Tehran Stars will advance to the World Series.
Despite coming out on the losing side, the series MVP award went to New Zealand second baseman Panut Subagja. Subagja told a reporter from the New Zealand Today that he was disappointed in the loss, and hopes to be back next year competing for the World Series
Tehran won the series 4-1. The Tehran Stars don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Buenos Aires Tango - Santo Domingo Bachateros series. Buenos Aires leads the series 3 games to 1. The World Series is scheduled to begin on November 1st , 2102.
