Fine Legs Take Tight Tangle
Bajan Breeze Park was the site of quite a ballgame.

The Barbados Fine Legs knocked off the Los Angeles Dreamers, 7-6, at Bajan Breeze Park. Markov Dacyshin was a big reason Barbados won. The shortstop went 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. The winner was Gürsel Korkmaz in relief. His record improves to 4-3. Seyoum Majid took the loss.

Up to bat in the bottom of the ninth, 25-year old center fielder Bernhard Berg had a chance to be the hero. Los Angeles pitcher Seyoum Majid wanted to foil that plan. But with one out, Berg hit a sacrifice fly. The Fine Legs had themselves a thrilling win.

"It's a thrill to get that kind of win," Berg said.

The second-place Fine Legs hiked their record to 49-43.
