The Reykjavik Narwhals defeated the London Knights, 10-4, in Western League action at Laugardalur Leikvangur. Adirizak Naggenda pulled his weight. The 11-year veteran was 2-5 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 4. With the win, Reykjavik pushed its record to 50-39.

Paresh Varahabhotla had a big 2-run double for the Narwhals in the bottom of the first inning. With Reykjavik leading 1-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a fastball from 25-year old left-handed pitcher Quang-Thieu Son and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 10th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Narwhals ahead, 3-0.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Naggenda said.
