Choho Edged, 4-1, by Delhi
|
The Delhi Destroyers faced a tough opponent in Tokyo pitcher Rudjer Dokic, but did just enough to pull out the victory at New Koshien Stadium by a final score of 4-1. Dokic went 7 innings and allowed 1 run. Manchu Fa, credited with the win in relief, is now 6-2. He allowed no runs on no hits in 0.1 innings. The Destroyers raised their record to 37-49.
Chang-sik Koo had a direct impact on the outcome. Koo contributed a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put Delhi up, 3-1.
Delhi manager Geressu Citseko praised his team's "businesslike approach."
