Delhi Destroyers starter Alex Gallego found his groove in his team's 6-5 win over the Tehran Stars. Gallego, now 3-2, was the winner. In 5 innings, he gave up 2 hits, while striking out 7, walking 1, and allowing 1 run. Brandon Bailey picked up the save for Delhi, his 15th of the year.

Korfa Gulamali, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2107 draft, helped out the Delhi cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch. For the game, the third baseman drove in one run.

"I like the grit of this ballclub," Gulamali said.

Delhi sits in 4th place in the Eastern League Middle East at 34-46.
