Beavers Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Dreamers, 6-4
The Toronto Beavers saddled the Los Angeles Dreamers with a loss at The Beaver Dome. The final score was 6-4. Alain Faucher was 2 for 4, including 1 single and 1 home run. The Toronto left fielder scored 1 run and drove in 4. Toronto reliever EhitiKapura Laionela got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Memir Sevim was tagged with the loss. Tuki Aolani got the save, his 18th in 23 chances.

Faucher had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 1-1 cutter from Memir Sevim, he banged a 3-run home run to center, giving the Beavers a 6-4 lead. It was the 13th home run of the year for Faucher.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Faucher.

The win gives Toronto a season record of 43-39.
