Hong Kong Patriots starter Sueichi Ueno turned in an exceptional performance against the Istanbul Scimitars at Constantinople Coliseum, resulting in a Hong Kong win, 6-2. Ueno got the win, improving to 5-6. He gave up 5 hits and walked 1 over 7 innings. He allowed 2 runs. The Patriots go to 31-46 with the win.
The Patriots got a big at-bat from right fielder Jaypee Boytiguel. For the game, Boytiguel was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Hong Kong a 2-0 lead.
