Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Havana Hammers and Cusco Jaguars.

Havana Hammers starter Khac-Kham Ng found his groove in his team's 2-0 win over the Cusco Jaguars. Ng picked up the win for Havana, going 8.1 innings. He gave up no runs on 10 hits. He now sports a record of 8-6. Gürsel Korkmaz earned the save for Havana, his 9th of the year.

Havana used the timely hitting of Danny Hernandez to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Hammers on top, 1-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Ng said.
