Scimitars Mow Down Towers, 10-2
The Istanbul Scimitars picked up a win at Constantinople Coliseum, dropping the Dubai Towers, 10-2. Rakin bin Naji, who finished 4th in the EL in wins with 18 in 2114, was the difference-maker. Istanbul goes to 5-2 with the win.

Vince Vermeule hit a 2-run home run off Joel Mouland in the bottom of the third, which put the Scimitars ahead, 2-1. In addition to the homer, Vermeule had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.

"Rakin had good arm action, good stuff," said Istanbul manager Akram Yusuf.
