Mubale Mtoro was a vital contributor to the 13-9 Dubai victory over South Africa. The Towers second baseman went 4-6 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 4 runs. Dubai reliever Adam Corado was the winner. His record is now 5-9. The losing pitcher was Iskinder Danjuma. At 32-39, the Towers claim 4th place in the Eastern League Middle East.

Dubai used the timely hitting of Dula Nnanna to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Towers on top, 10-9. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Mtoro told the Dubai Herald. "It's as simple as that."
