The Prague Mammoths defeated the Ethiopia Ibex, 5-3, in Western League action at Prague Park. Prague pitcher Hiromichi Nakamoto had a standout performance. Nakamoto yielded 3 runs over 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 1, and struck out 10. His record improves to 5-6. Ghidewon Keter earned save number 4 this season.

Lutfi Bahiyy al Din had a big 2-run home run for the Mammoths in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Prague leading 2-1 and a runner on 2nd, he sized up a fastball from 24-year old right-handed pitcher Joshua Bates and punished it. The result was his 5th home run of the season, which put the Mammoths on top, 4-1.

Bahiyy al Din called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
