The Hanoi Red Dragons got a sterling performance from first baseman Abruri Mtima, but the Delhi Destroyers still prevailed, 7-6. Mtima was 2-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The 4th-place Destroyers improved to 29-32.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Delhi pinch hitter Korfa Gulamali, facing Dmitr Kagarov, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Destroyers the 7-6 win.

"What a buzz," said Gulamali after it was over.
