Red Dragons Hope Opening Day Win Bodes Well for Season
The Hanoi Red Dragons put one in the win column on Opening Day at Field of the Red Dragons. The Red Dragons defeated the Tehran Stars, 7-3. Hanoi left fielder Dohm-Phu Hoang was instrumental in his team's success. He went 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs.

The Red Dragons got a big at-bat from second baseman Milo Brkic. For the game, Brkic was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Hanoi a 6-3 lead.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Hoang said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
