Vermeule Launches Number 300
Did you catch a home run yesterday? One lucky fan has a prize possession after Vince Vermeule crushed his 300 home run tonight.

Vermeule offered the lucky fan some souvenirs and a small cash prize in exchange for the ball. The fan who caught the ball has been identified, but has not yet commented on his intentions.

"That's one you would kind of like to keep," Vermeule said.

The Scimitars first baseman went 2 for 5 with 1 home run and 2 runs batted in as the Istanbul Scimitars won 3-2 over the Riyadh Oryx.

The Scimitars will be hosting a Vince Vermeule commemorative poster promotion for an upcoming homestand.
