The Seoul Arrows picked up a win at Samsung Stadium, dropping the London Knights, 5-4. Luke Smith, who is tied for 2nd in the EL with a 0.96 WHIP, was the difference-maker. Seoul pitcher Lyndon Pasquet earned the win, hiking his record to 2-0. Breen Boyle suffered the loss. Murrough Flanagan earned the save, his 5th, for the Arrows.
William Cecere drew 1 walk in 4 plate appearances for Seoul. The two-time All-Star had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Breen Boyle. It was his 11th walk of the season.
"Luke made his pitches," said Seoul manager Benyounes Shibisha.
The Arrows lead the Eastern League Far East by 7½ games.
