Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Destroyers
Fans who congregated at Delhi Stadium were treated to extra-inning drama.

The Delhi Destroyers faced a tough opponent in Prague pitcher Oscar Rodriquez, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Delhi Stadium by a final score of 3-2 in 10 innings. Rodriquez went 7 innings and allowed 1 run. The winner was Delhi reliever Ghedi Tuwile, now 2-2. The loser was Ioakim Paruzin.

Batting in the bottom of the tenth, 29-year old center fielder Way-ming Lam had a real shot to win the game. Prague pitcher Ioakim Paruzin was determined not to let it happen. But with one out, Lam hit a run-scoring single. The Destroyers had a walk-off triumph.

"We need to get rid of the bad mojo," said Lam. "Maybe this win will help."

Today's win puts Delhi at 19-32, while Prague falls to 24-27.
