Normore Outstanding, No-Hits Dream Tuesday, July 16th , 2069 Excitement reigned at Emeralds Ballpark as Bad Axe Hatchets hurler Kenzie Normore tossed a baseball rarity -- a no-hitter. After defeating the Lafitte Dream, 6-0, he was swamped by reporters in the clubhouse for postgame comments. "I'm just glad to be here," Normore said. "Today I just went right at the Dream as hard as I could, as long as I could." Normore, who is tied for 5th in the SL1 in quality starts with 8, chalked up 11 strikeouts and allowed 7 walks in his superb performance. "I don't think they could have stopped him with a howitzer today," said Bad Axe manager . To date this year, Normore has compiled a 9-3 mark with a 3.57 ERA in 14 starts.
