SL2 Starter of the Month Goes to Payne

There's no doubt that Secrets starter Kristopher Payne earned his Sub League 2 Pitcher of the Month award. He left absolutely no room for doubt as he mowed his way through the opposition in May.
During the month Payne was 5-0 with a 2.68 ERA. He made 7 starts, tossed 50.1 innings and had 58 strikeouts.

Best Pitcher Picked by Sub League 1

Tad Washington hated to see May turn to June.
And who could blame him?
The 20-year-old hurler piled up 4 wins and no losses for the Commodores last month and won the Sub League 1 Pitcher of the Month award for his efforts.
Washington stymied opposing batters on 25 base hits and a .198 batting average. He rang up 45 strikeouts in 35 innings of work, surrendered 26 walks and fashioned a sparkling 2.31 ERA.

Suzuki Wins SL2 Prize, Named Best Hitter in May

Ichiro Suzuki said at the age of 36 he's seen it all in professional baseball.
But he may never have seen his own performance be as dominant as it was in May, as the Moosejaw Bullwinkles first baseman has won the Sub League 2 Batter of the Month award.
Suzuki batted .455, hit 14 home runs, drove in 42 runs, scored 26 times and compiled a .535 on-base percentage.
