Moogles Move on to Round 2

Carlos Gómez said he expected the Round 1 to be "a battle from start to finish."
In the end, it was nothing more than a minor skirmish, as the Kupo City Moogles encountered little resistance in sweeping the Treno Cardsharks, to advance to the Round 2.
"It may have been a sweep, but it still was a tough series," said Gómez.
Kupo City won the final game by a 5-3 count and were led in the series by Gómez, who was named MVP. On the series, he hit .583 with 3 home runs. He also drove in 10 RBI and scored 5 runs.
The Kupo City Moogles don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Madison Mallards - Victoria Secrets series. Victoria leads the series 2 games to 0. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
