Rea Has Season End Sunday, July 15th , 2068 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Oakland's Raúl Rea to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 07/10/2068 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Rea said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Rea has been out of action since he suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament. Checking out his stats for the year, Rea has racked up 2 wins and 3 losses in 11 starts, posted a 4.65 ERA, and struck out 71 batters in 60 innings. |
