Krenchicki Caps Great Week Monday, July 18th , 2072 Wayne Krenchicki must have thought he was in seventh heaven this week. First he went on a sensational hitting spree, belting the ball at a .526 pace, then the Victoria third baseman finds out he has been selected the top performer and gets the Sub League 2 Player of the Week Award. Asked what his hitting philosophy was, Krenchicki quipped to the BNN reporters, "Well, my theory of hitting is to just watch the ball as it comes in and hit it." It was a good week's work for Krenchicki. He hit .526 average (10-for-19) with 3 home runs and 6 RBIs. So far this year in 66 games, Krenchicki is hitting .359 with 22 home runs, 63 RBIs and 67 runs scored. |
