Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl Sunday, May 5th , 2069 José López of the El Cerrito in Riverside County Pirates and Dennis Sostenes of the Pelham Moonrunners will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 9 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Pirates-Moonrunners game at Skirmishers Ballpark. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN López and Sostenes will begin serving them soon. This year, López is batting .500 with 1 home run. |
