Ulysses S. Grant League #1 Hurler is Green Saturday, September 1st , 2068 When Jack Green takes the mound, a West Bloomfield victory is usually the result. At least that's the way it was in August. He excelled with a 4-0 mark and a 0.44 ERA in 5 starts, tossed 40.2 innings, fanned 39 and held opposing batters to a .169 average. That's why the Wannabees starter was honored today as the Pitcher of the Month by the Ulysses S. Grant League. Thus far this season, Green has posted a 8-2 record, started 11 games, struck out 74 batters in 85.1 innings and compiled a 0.84 ERA. |
