Holmes Brilliant -- Fires No-Hitter Wednesday, August 29th , 2068 Segovia is abuzz in the wake of a masterful no-hitter by Bobby Holmes. The 19-year-old hurler was dominating against the Howard City Heroes, leading the Cochinillos to a 1-0 win at Blizzards Stadium. "I could tell early on that it was going to be a long day for us," Howard City manager said afterward. "He made us look real bad. He was that good. And still going strong at the end of the game." Holmes had 9 strikeouts and gave up 1 walk en route to the no-hitter. "Yeah, this was a special day for me," Holmes said. "I had my good stuff and good movement. Good location, too. Even when I made a mistake, I got away with it today." Holmes has made 13 starts so far this year and put up a 6-6 won-lost record with a 0.59 ERA.
