Fission Spellbound, Ybarra Hurls No-Hitter Saturday, August 18th , 2068 In a seldom seen sight, Scotty Ybarra threw a no-hitter at Commanders Ballpark as the Garland Commanders topped the Savannah River Fission, 4-0. In a dominating performance, Ybarra struck out 13 and walked 2 while facing only 29 batters. "He had great stuff," Commanders manager told BNN reporters. "Scotty is a real gamer, a real competitor. He doesn't give in to anybody out there." This year, Ybarra has made 12 starts, thrown 95.2 innings, fanned 112 batters and walked 36. His won-lost record is 4-4 with a 1.13 ERA.
