Werner Shuts Out Aurora, 4-0 Wednesday, May 8th , 2069 Matt Werner of the Adena Mounds was in command from start to finish in his 4-0 shutout win over the Aurora Atoms. The right-hander, who is tied for 4th in the GWL in wins with 4, struck out 6, walked 2 and allowed 1 hit. "I felt strong the entire game," Werner said. "I felt like I had my good stuff. It was just one of those games when everything was working." This year, Werner has registered no saves in no relief appearances. He has also compiled a 4-2 won-lost mark with a 3.10 ERA.
