Huisman Shuts Out Trois Rivieres, 4-0 Monday, April 8th , 2069 There was no spell, no black magic -- just good pitching. Cees Huisman of the Madison Mixers blanked the Trois Rivieres Lakers, 4-0, at Ballpark of Trotwood, and he did it the old-fashioned way. After finishing the 1-hit, complete-game shutout, he was all smiles. "I threw a lot of my pitches for strikes in this game," Huisman said. "I mixed it up and tried keeping these guys off balance." Huisman walked 0 and struck out 6 in the victory. "He was throwing his breaking ball for strikes and we never capitalized on any of his mistakes," Lakers manager said later.
