López Sensational, 15 Ks Wednesday, May 8th , 2069 Diego López of the Madrid Jabalies put on a pitching clinic at Smasheville, as he struck out 15 Asheville Boomsticks in a 3-0 victory. López, who finished 4th in the TTWB in ERA with 2.35 in 2067, was simply magnificent, holding the Boomsticks to 3 hits. He walked 0. "I felt okay at the beginning," López said, "but eventually my curveball really started working. I also have to thank my catcher for calling a great game." When asked about López's performance, Jabalies manager Tony Meyer shook his head and said, "Yeah, he was good out there today. He was dominating."
