Richard White took College Draft League by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 22.
For his spectacular campaign, the Manhattan Raging Bulls star has been named the 2122 College Draft League Most Valuable Player recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the catcher.
On the season he compiled a .300 batting average to go with a .340 on-base percentage. The native of Brooklyn, New York also added 2 doubles, no triples, 12 home runs, 17 RBIs and 17 runs scored.
He received 7 first place votes out of a possible 16. Aaron Blakney of the Queens Music finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while Jeffery Buckley of the Williamsport Crosscutters finished third with 2 first place votes.
