Memphis-New Orleans Fight Results in Suspensions Sunday, October 5th , 2121 Oliver Ruíz of the Memphis Catfish and Chris Rose of the New Orleans Jazz received notification from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended for 4 and 6 games respectively for their part in the on-field ruckus in a recent game at Legends Field. This year, Ruíz has socked 171 hits in 528 at-bats for a .324 average with 32 home runs. He is getting on base at a .399 pace and his totals also include 101 RBIs and 106 runs scored. Rose has a 10-10 season record so far. In 32 starts, he has fanned 105 batters in 168.2 innings with a 5.23 ERA. |
