The Washington Black Bears defeated the Mexico City Toros Bravos, 11-4, at Trono de los reyes des beisbol. Greg Sewell, who is tied for 9th in the WL with a .302 batting average, was a standout performer for Washington. The game was all tied up in the top of the ninth, until Sewell delivered big-time for Washington, stroking a dramatic 2-run double off Steve Edwards. The game-changing hit put the Black Bears on top, 6-4.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Sewell told the Washington Daily News.
