Milwaukee pitcher Esteban López did his part in helping his team beat the Vancouver Thunder, 7-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. The second-place Thunder have lost 5 straight games.

Travis Belcher was 1 for 4, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Milwaukee. The 26-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a 2-run single off José Sánchez. It was his 17th hit of the season.
